Even though I am still working on my Philly Guide (coming soon) I did promise to get my Philly holiday guide up ASAP. Well, here it is! Philly is such an amazing city (I’m a little biased) and I truly think that people forget or skip over it. There are some amazing locations, shows, etc to check off during the holiday season so here are a few of my favorites.
PA Ballet production of The Nutcracker
Going to The Nutcracker is a tradition for me. I grew up performing it every year and I loved it. It’s the one way to get me excited for Christmas and I’m so happy to be going next week! Our ballet here does an amazing job and I literally cry every time I go. Speaking of, if you are interested in going I have a code for tickets for opening night. The code is DAVIDA50
Tinsel Philly
I have a blog post coming soon all about Tinsel. It’s a pop up bar decorated fully for Christmas! Last week I had the opportunity to go to the media preview party and my little heart could just burst! They should be opening soon for the public so follow them on Instagram for updates.
Ice Skating at Dilworth Park
Conveniently located right at City Hall. Once you finish up skating, you can head right on over to Christmas Village to warm up with some hot chocolate.
Christmas Village
Think of an outdoor German Christmas market in Philly. Located right across the street from Dilworth Park (very convenient), it takes place each year in LOVE Park. Vendors set up in wooden booths and sell seasonal gifts, arts and crafts, ornaments as well as European foods, sweets, and beverages. There is now a Ferris wheel too! I can share more about this in a blog post too.
Photo Pop Philly
This is a first for Photo Pop Philly. The theme this season is Winter Wonderland. If you are looking for an Instagrammable place for holiday content, Photo Pop has you covered.
Anthropologie Building Display
This is where I am in this photos. How cool is the display? I actually took these photos when they first decorated the building so there is even more to it now. As soon as I saw them getting this set up for the holidays I knew it would be the perfect spot for photos and to come visit. They always do a wonderful display.
If there is anything that I am missing please feel free to let me know. I would love to know your favorites and I love going to new places!
Thanks for reading!
