Red Dress Boutique Try On

If you follow me on Instagram I did a Red Dress Boutique try on yesterday. Typically I keep those try on sessions only on Instagram. Why not share the wealth here on the blog too? Plus, the items in my order was super cute! if I don’t get to wear all of these outfits out, at least they get some love here. I love Red Dress because all of their pieces are adorable. They aren’t just cute but also well made too. Everything in my order was under $60 except 1 item.

My sizing: 5’3”. Typically an XS/S in tops and small/2 in bottoms.

Orange Dress

This dress is absolutely adorable but let me point out that it’s really short. It’s slightly asymmetrical with a higher hem in the front than the back. I would say if you have a longer torso to not order this dress unless you plan on making it a swim cover up. I’m wearing a size small.

Red Skirt Set

How adorable is this set? It’s definitely a little out of my comfort zone being a new mom but the hubs reassured me. This set could be great for going out but I see this more for vacation. It runs true to size and the top is very forgiving. You won the be able to wear a bra. The skirt is lined. I’m wearing a size small.

Yellow Gingham Dress

My love for gingham runs deep. Red Dress just posed this dress on their Instagram and I was so happy knowing that I got it. This dress feels like an updated version of this one I had from last year. I regretted not getting the yellow color way then so I got it now. It’s such a happy color and the dress is so comfortable. It runs true to size. I’m wearing a size small.

Grey Gingham Midi Dress

Let me just point out that somewhere along the way I forgot how to spell “grey”. Is it with an “a” or “e”? Asking for myself lol. Anyway how awesome is this dress? It looks and feels so expensive but it’s only $56! The arms of the dress are convertible so it can be worn regular on your shoulders or off the shoulder. My favorite part about it is that it has pockets. Who doesn’t love a dress with pockets!? I’m wearing a size small.

Tan Maxi Skirt

Adding this skirt to my Summer capsule wardrobe! It’s literally the perfect maxi skirt for summer and will transition well into Fall. It’s an A-line shape so flattering on all body types. It has a side zip closure and the skirt has no stretch. I’m wearing a size extra small.

Hot Pink Multi Print Maxi Dress

This dress screams luxury but without the price. Coming in at $66!!! That may seem like a lot to some but for this quality it really can’t be beat. This dress can work for petite people because the waistband is elastic. Essentially you can just pull the waistband up to make the dress a little shorter. It also works for petites because of the side slit. A slit in a maxi dress is important when you are short because it breaks up all of that fabric to no overwhelm your frame. I also love the dramatic one sleeve giving off a Grecian goddess look. I’m wearing a size small.
