Side Deck Refresh

Side Deck Refresh. Yet another labor of love around the house. Patio season is here and if you know me, one thing I LOVE doing is being outside! I love being out there with the kids and I love to entertain or be able to entertain outdoors. Our side deck was my easiest project to start to tackle since it mainly just needs some decor. Keep in mind, this is not the finished product but this is all I will be doing for now until we get back from our Disney trip.

How it started. Luckily if you remember our last house, we already had some seating from these egg chairs that I’m obsessed with. The wicker side table I got from Big Lots but will admit that it has seen better days. On my list of updates, a new side table, coffee table, more plants and maybe a poof for some extra seating. The first new addition to the deck, my beautiful hydrangeas that I put in this planter. This planter is such a great price at under $20. I have the purple hydrangeas on the side of the house and the blue ones are at the front.

Then I went to At Home because they have any and everything you can think of when it comes to home stuff. They were running an insider perk special that if you spend $30 you get a free pack of string lights! I think I may end up hanging them around the deck. I added this faux aloe plant which I think looks pretty real and this wicker lantern that matches everything perfectly. It is battery operated and has a little light in it.

For most of my decor, Marshalls came in clutch by giving me a gift card which really helped with me getting the rest of the decor. The black lantern is actually solar powered. The rug and pillows are from Marshalls as well.

I love the way this space is coming together. This is where I will spend most of my time, especially until we get to the backyard patio. Speaking of that, we are in full on backyard patio mode when we get back from Disney.
