Hello, hello!!! It took lots of elbow grease to get today’s post up BUT I am so excited to share it with you! I apologize in advance since it’s longer than usual. If you follow my social media handles, you will know that I attended the Simply Stylist NYC Fashion and Beauty Conference on Sunday. The day was full of wonderful advice. I met some awesome new blogger friends and new mentors as well.

The day started off with the VIP brunch. Either I was starving or the food was extra good but whatever the case it was delicious! In the above photo, look at how pretty our tables were! We were all gifted with some goodies from Library of Flowers and it smelled so good! We went into the conference room and got a warm greeting from our host with the most, Cat Sadler of E! News. Then it was on to the first keynote speaker which was Olivia Culpo. After she spoke it was the blogger panel, stylist panel and entrepreneur panel. Next we had the final keynote speaker of the day and that was June Ambrose! You can see her videos at the bottom of this post. Finally it was the breakout sessions. (I listed the itinerary for you to make things easier)

The two ladies in the above photos were my saviors for the day. I was so over stimulated with wanting to meet people, network, listen to breakout sessions that I needed a minute to get away and take some outfit photos…duh! They both took photos for me and of course I returned the favor. Please make sure you check out their blogs. Molly’s blog is Trendy Chickadee and Yvonne’s is Dear Sunny. Clearly they have awesome style and were the sweetest ladies ever! That’s another reason why I love these conferences, developing life long friendships and helping each other.

Are you guys seeing all of the goodies we got in our gift bags (second to last picture)!? A Trina Turk scarf (bomb!), Argan oil (my fav), dry shampoo, Dove dry spray antiperspirant, Amy Nadine eyeshadow, you name it and it was in that bag. To top it all off, I won a portable phone charger at the Dove spin wheel, made my day! Thank you so much Sarah for having us and thanks to all of the sponsors and speakers. I truly enjoyed myself and learned so much!
