I have been having so much fun styling sweater dresses lately. As I mentioned in this post I’ve been wearing sweater dresses on repeat. When you are styling the same thing over and over again, you have to find ways to get creative when it comes to styling.
I will say that this is one of my shorter sweater dresses. Since I didn’t want it to look completely short, I opted for a pair of over the knee boots to wear with it. I also made sure that the boot was a flat. Had I worn an over the knee boot with a heel, this dress may have looked even shorter and too dressy which wasn’t the vibe I was going for. You could also pair this dress with ankle booties but because of my bump I felt I didn’t need the dress to look any shorter again.
As always the easiest way to make any dress look casual is to pair it with sneakers. You could dress this down even more by adding a denim jacket. You could also make it edgy with a leather jacket and combat boots. There are so many options. For all my pregnant ladies out there, don’t forget that you can still have fun with your clothes. For all my non pregnant ladies, just work it! This look is a great option no matter if you are pregnant or not
Before I go I did want to share some exciting baby news. First things first, I felt some real movement this week which has been the strangest, craziest, coolest thing I’ve ever experienced! I think this kid is gonna be wild like me. Another thing, I got the nurse to call my best friend on Monday. She her what the sex of the baby is!!! So exciting that someone besides the doctors now know because it makes things more real! Last thing, my best friend had to know the sex to help out with our gender reveal party which we have set to happen next month!!! It’s going to be super small, just immediate family but fun decorations and I can’t wait to share.
Thanks for reading!
I love the print! It is very universal.
