Today I’m talking fashion and fractures.  This has been the story of my life lately.  The first thing I thought of when I got injured (besides when will I dance again) was what about my blog!?  With the advice and support of my boyfriend, I decided that I wouldn’t let this injury stop me from dressing like I always do. I mean who says you have to look frumpy just cuz you’re on crutches!?

I’ve experienced a rollercoaster of emotions since I’ve been hurt but I’m coming to terms with the fact that all I can do is stay positive and get better. I didn’t think anyone would want to see an orthopedic boot “ruining” my outfits but in fact the opposite has happened. I’ve collaborated with some great people/brands such as Chloe Johnston and interviewed designer Brett Johnson all while in this boot and on crutches. Some people have even said I was an “inspiration” because I manage to still “dress cute” while I’m on crutches. I was so happy that no one even gave it a second look and it put me a little more at ease.

Even though the last 2 months have been a struggle, I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is that last week that I am on crutches (happy dance!). What y’all don’t know is that for each of the above pictures I had to stand and pose stationary and my crutches were on standby next to me lol.

Sorry for the rambling but I’m just excited to be getting back to normal soon.  Even though I didn’t mean to, I’m glad that I could help someone or even encourage someone.

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
