It’s wedding Wednesday!!! I’m here to talk all about the groomsmen tuxes. First off, our wedding photos are in, some need some tweaking but I can officially start sharing some wedding details. Sheldon and his groomsmen wore gray tuxes from Men’s Wearhouse. Originally they selected suits but then realized our wedding dress code was black tie and changed it.
Each guy only had one job, go to the local Men’s Wearhouse to get measured. Men’s Wearhouse did the rest! The best thing about Men’s Wearhouse was their communication. Sheldon wanted to take the lead with selecting what the guys would wear. I’m going to be honest, this made me a little uneasy. Knowing that this is also his wedding, I let him select but on a tight leash of course 😉 . Once all of the guys got measured, I received a confirmation email with all of the details. So nice seeing as I wasn’t there.
At our first appointment with Men’s Wearhouse, Sheldon hinted that he wanted to wear a different color tux than the guys. I told him, “Do it, I’m wearing a different dress than my bridesmaids” lol. All of the guys wore a light gray slim fit tuxedo while Sheldon’s was more on the charcoal side. I’m not men’s fashion expert but slim fit is definitely the way to go. I hate an ill fitting suit/tux but the slim fit made everyone look tailored and put together.
The final touch on their look were these Vera Wang ties from Men’s Wearhouse. I did not know what the guys were wearing until I saw them as I walked down the aisle. Don’t they look sharp!? My dad and my brother also got their tuxes from Men’s Wearhouse. My brother in light gray and my dad in black. He calls it his penguin suit lol.
