Introducing Carter James! On September 22, 2022 we welcomed our baby boy into the world. Carter James Lovelace was born at 8:23 am weighing a whopping 9lbs 3.1oz! It’s crazy because he was literally double Cora’s birth weight and then some! I’ve officially given birth to the smallest and biggest babies in my family lol. This post has been in the works for a bit now, I can’t believe it’s been a month already. I’m pretty sure I introduced Cora to the blog around the same time.
I’ll tell you one thing, life with 2 under 2 is wild! Very fulfilling, but wild. My patience has been tested like no other, it’s so hard to get things done, I’m learning how to split/share my attention with two babies but I honestly love it. One of my favorite parts about bringing Carter home was the day he met Cora. It was such a special moment but I will save all of that for his birth story.
Please be gracious with me over the next month or so as I try to navigate getting back to work.
