Back with another “Ways To Style” Wednesday and today it’s way to style a midi dress. I’ve been taking suggestions from you all on what to style next as well as styling pieces that I know are versatile. Here are a few ways I’d style this midi dress.
Denim Jacket and Sneakers
If you haven’t learned anything by now, it’s that denim jackets can be worn with anything and in any way. For styling the bump purposes I rolled my shirt up above the bump and added a belt. By doing this I look proportionate and I think it helps elongate my frame. For all my non preggo people this styling tip would still work except you don’t have to roll your shirt as high as I did.
Graphic T-Shirt and Combat Boots
Another way to make this look casual but add some edge would be with a graphic t-shirt. This time I just took a hair tie and tied up the t-shirt above my bump. For all of you non pregnant people, do the same but again not as high as my shirt is. It’s totally up to you but you could choose to tie the shirt in the front or have it tied off to the side a little. You also don’t necessarily have to pair this with combat boots. Sneakers would work fine too.
Blazer and Booties
For all my 9-5 ladies (pre Covid I guess) this look is for you. It’s a great way to show how to dress up the midi dress a bit.
Long Cardigan and Sandals
This is such an easy “running errands” type of look. Even though we are still in winter, Spring is around the corner and this dress transitions well into the Spring.
Please do me a favor and let me know how you are liking this new series! Remember last week was “How To Style Sweat Sets.” I have been loving putting all of these looks together for you. If you need more don’t hesitate to ask.
